It’s called “Goblin” (or “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God”), and let me tell you, it’s a magical ride from start to finish. What’s “Goblin” About?

Enter Ji Eun-Tak (Kim Go-Eun), a high school student who claims to be the goblin’s bride, and Grim Reaper (Lee Dong-Wook), who’s living with amnesia and shares a bizarre roommate dynamic with Kim Shin. The storyline is a mix of fantasy, romance, and a touch of comedy, making it an all-around winner.
The Reaction So Far
We had our first K-Drama Club meeting last night, and boy, was it a hit! Picture this: a group of us gathered in my living room, some homemade tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and japchae (stir-fried glass noodles) courtesy of Trader Joe’s, and the anticipation of watching the first episode of “Goblin.”

For our first night, we tried some Korean snacks and dishes. The tteokbokki was a hit, though a bit too spicy for some (sorry, Haley!). We also had japchae, which was a bit of a mess since it was our first time cooking it, but hey, practice makes perfect, right?
After the episode, we spent at least an hour discussing our favorite parts and what we think will happen next. We even tried learning a few Korean phrases – “Annyeong” (hello) and “Gamsahamnida” (thank you) – just to get into the spirit!
